Gift Hamper Ideas for Retailers: Four Builds That Sell

Four gift hamper ideas you can copy onto your counter, what makes a good hamper filler, and the box and ribbon for each build, all from one wholesale order.

Looking for gift hamper ideas your customers will actually buy? The box and ribbon get a hamper noticed, but the fillers are what people pay for. Here are four gift hamper ideas you can copy straight onto your counter, built from the hamper fillers our stockists reorder most, all from one wholesale order.

What makes a good hamper filler

• Shelf-stable. No fridge, long best-before dates.
• Flat and sturdy. Most of our hamper boxes are 11cm deep, so jars, packets and tubes work better than tall bottles.
• Gift-ready. Good labels do half the selling. Lines with a story, like Australian-made Valley Produce Company and Jen's, help.
• Heat-safe. Keep chocolate-coated lines for hampers that leave the shop in your customer's hands, not in a hot van.
• Already on your shelf. Fillers you also sell singly never become dead stock.
